I’ve been trying to decide what I wanted to do for Oscar’s teachers on Valentine’s Day. I didn’t want to go crazy, but also wanted to be at least a little bit thoughtful. And I think I found it! He has two teachers so I decided to make these little cards and have him make the flower petals using his thumbprint. Then we will put it in a little flower pot with a few packets of seeds! A sweet Valentine for some very sweet teachers.
Free Printable!
I made the card as a printable to share so feel free to download it for your own personal use! I intentionally left off the word teacher so these really could be used for anyone. They print two to a page and I suggest using white card stock for the best effect. (click the image or the link to print)
Teacher Valentine Printable (opens as PDF)
To make your card:
- Print onto white card stock and cut out (they print 2 per page)
- Depending on child’s age, let them use red ink to make a thumbprint flower, or let them draw the flower petals.
- Have child sign their name
- Attach seed packets and a flower pot if desired.
- Done!
If you decide to make this card, I would love to see your pictures! Leave a link here in the comments or share it on Facebook! And for more Valentine’s Day printables, check out these class cards!
