Nobody likes being sick

We’ve had quite the past few days. Oscar and Calvin both had colds that laid them up. Cal ended up on nebulizer treatments and Oscar landed 10 days in antibiotic hell for an ear infection. Yippee!

Thankfully, everyone finally seems to be on the mend. Not sure if you were keeping track but we were pretty much trapped for 5 days straight. Lots of tv watching, jammy-wearing, snotty nosed goodness over here. Every morning Oscar wakes up and says, yeah I’m still just a little bit sick..but I’ll be better soon!

And then we commence with the 40 question back and forth conversation of why people get sick and why people don’t like being sick, always ending in me ~~shouting~~ saying, because nobody likes being sick! To which he replies, why?

Last night the boys both ate well and seem to be hanging in there. Cal even flashed us a few smiles at dinner time. Did you know he has two teeth?? I haven’t been able to capture them in a picture yet but they are the bottom two in the middle. Such a little man.

Yeah, this is more like it. Whew.
