My biggest {blogging} character flaw #vlogmom

Hey there! It’s time for another #vlogmom question. Do you like this series? I have to admit that it’s one of the highlights of my week. I love answering these questions and taking a minute to sit down and really consider my answer. This week’s question is a biggie. Tania from Pure Natural Diva wants to know

What is your biggest character flaw?

I stammered and stuttered at the beginning of my video trying to find the words, but yeah, I think I found it. As a blogger, I definitely think that I can be too reliant on positive feedback.

So what is your biggest character flaw? Feel free to share it in the comments or link up a video of your own!

Such a TERRIFIC answer. I can so relate to that feeling of putting something out there and waiting for a response, just hoping that in some way it affected someone.

    You are an incredible blogger/vlogger!

I think this “approval seeking” is something that is so easy to seek in social media. I think you really hit the nail on the head with Twitter and Facebook and the ability to have such affirmation there, that when we don’t receive it it can be a bit of a bummer.

    Great vlog.

Totally agree – that’s my biggest character flaw, too (as far as blogging is concerned – in real life, I have far worse flaws!). I love that you could be totally honest about it! Most people don’t want to admit that they do come online to seek affirmation (but I think it’s true of most of us). Loved this post.

I think the other side of the coin of seeking positive affirmation is COMPASSION. You care for others. And you are charismatic and an influencer, so you’re in the affirmation cycle. It’s all good girl. It just means you CARE and you ROCK. Great vlog!

Ok so I am the same way. As much as I say I started this for me….there is a part of me that wants to know that someone gets it, is nodding, or feels something.

I am so with you! I get so “hurt” if I don’t get very may comments, or I get passed over on opportunities, or I send a tweet/FB update and no one responds. It’s like a personal diss. I am constantly telling myself that it isn’t about ME and I just need to keep at it.

(side note: you look really pretty in this video!)
