We are big fans of Marbles in this house. The fabulous children’s museum right in the heart of Downtown Raleigh, NC is complete with two stories of interactive play and Raleigh’s only IMAX theater. We had a chance to play last night and let the boys run wild. And after an afternoon where neither of them napped, this was a very welcome outing!
This weekend Marbles is celebrating their 5th birthday and you are invited! Check out Marbles for free from 9am-5pm on Saturday 9/29 and join in the fun! One of our favorite exhibits is Moneypalooza and coincidentally, I was finally able to capture Calvin’s first real steps while we were there.
For parents of new or pre-walkers, make sure you check out the newest addition to Marbles, Toddlers Hollow! This room that is off limits to groups is specially designed for young kids.
…children under 3 are invited to discover the magic of the woods and explore woodland critters at their own pace. Practice crawling, walking and balancing on the meandering bridge, uncover a pixie hideaway and dress up as a forest creature.
Over the years, I have watched Marbles transform from a fun museum to a really thoughtful place for children of all ages to explore. It continues to be one of our favorite local destinations!
Marbles is located at 201 East Hargett Street in Raleigh. For general museum information, please call 919.834.4040.
My family attended Marbles Media Play Day this week as part of their birthday celebration. All opinions are my own.
