Me at Type-A-Mom 2010
At the end of this week, I will be heading to Charlotte, NC to fill my brain with all things blogging and social media at the Type-A-Parent conference. I have to admit that I am SO looking forward to this time of learning, fun, and friendship with some of my favorite bloggers. It’s always a good thing learn and step outside my comfort zone a bit.
Last year I didn’t make it to any conferences because of that little thing called the 3rd trimester, so I am thrilled to be able to go this year! I have my sessions planned, my dancing shoes ready and my iPhone charged. I may have even gotten my hair cut.
OH yes, we are doing this.
In all honestly though, every time I go to a conference I am stunned by how amazing the blogging community is. I feel so fortunate to be a part of it and gain some wisdom from many amazing women (and men) in the process. I never leave empty handed. I have talked about why this particular conference is a personal favorite before and I have a feeling that this year will be the best yet.
So far 2012 has been all about taking risks and it has been amazing. I can’t wait to see what is next!
