I’m writing a book!

I can’t believe I am writing these words. I shared my news on various social networks earlier today. But for the sake of posterity, I must share here too.

Holy cow.

I don’t even know how to wrap my head around that concept. Writing a book has been a dream of mine for so long and I even wrote about it in January as part of my 2012 goals. And after all of that, here I go! It’s completely surreal.

The book will be about Klout, which is a social scoring website that analyzes social media users and rates their influence. They’ve been around for a few years, but have really started to gain some traction in the past year or so. My goal will be to explain the system in a way that makes sense and helps people who want to use the site to its fullest potential.

I could not be more excited to be taking this on! Things on this blog will likely slow down a bit. But I know I won’t be able to stand long periods of absence from my home here online.

Thank you SO much to everyone who has been so kind to me already. I can’t wait to get started! Eek!
