Follow Friday: Father’s Day!

Me in Florida circa early 80s – Hat reads: Don’t Mess with Dad

Woohoo, it’s Friday again! Yay! I love Fridays. Even though I don’t work a desk job anymore, I guess I am just trained to love the weekends. Plus it means more time with Jerry! And THIS weekend is Father’s Day! We plan to lay low and have a relaxing day at home. Jerry has to work on Saturday so I told him Sunday would be all about him. He even got to plan the menu! Breakfast will be Bacon egg and cheese English muffins (he calls them Egg McBaby’s) and grits, lunch will be simple sandwiches, and dinner will be this yet unnamed recipe! Yum. I love Father’s Day!

But back to follow Friday! Today I have a few links that are somewhat Father’s Day related.

First up, here is my post this week on Blissfully Domestic! Oscar and I made his Dad a custom handkerchief. We gave it to him this morning and he loves it!

Next I want to share a post from Frugal Dad. It’s a letter to his son on Raising a Frugal Dad! Touching AND informative!

I also want to promote my OWN Dad! He’s not only a published author, but he now has his own blog called Elisha Vision! He has some strong convictions and I love that about him. And the best part is, he loves hearing all perspectives, so go ahead and agree or disagree! He’d love your comments :-) Also, He totally let me drink my own, whole COKE in a can. Gosh I miss the 80s.

What do you have planned for Father’s day? I’d love to hear about it!

As the above mentioned Dad, I find it overwhelming that love I have always had for my baby daughter (and her two sisters for that matter) can be returned with such depth and sincerity. Thank you. But "dagger fingers"? I did notice the pics included you and your son fearlessly holding hands with old dagger fingers. Love you with my whole heart. Dad
