Christmas Card Photos {outtakes}

A couple weeks ago we got the family all gussied up and went out to the State Capitol downtown to have some photos taken by the lovely Amaris Hames. I really wasn’t sure how it would go down as this is the first time we have tried to get pictures with the whole family, but Amaris was a natural and really helped us relax and have a great time. And the photos are wonderful!

I also had her take a few of just me for my online stuff, you know professional and whatnot. I am so happy with the pictures and I can’t wait to see our Christmas card! Below are some of the shots we decided not to use, but they are still awesome so I had to share! Will upload the Christmas Card as soon as I get it. Thanks Amaris!

    Hi there! Your family is adorable! This is a very random question, but what/how did you curl your hair? I am trying to get some curls like these, and we seem to have similar hair type….told you it was random:)

      Thanks! I put some anti-frizz and mousse and let it air dry. I also take a few pieces and make ringlets around my fingers to give some definition. It stays like that for around 10 hours hah and then it’s back to the drawing board!
