3 things I wish I knew before I became a mom #vlogmom

Oh, Kadi from Our Seven Seeds had such a great question for today’s #vlogmom! Honestly, I have far more than 3 answers to this, some serious and some silly. That said, I shared my answers in my video below and I would love to know yours!

What are 3 things you wish someone had told you before you became a Mom?

I totally second the purse thing. We we t from diaper bag to backpack pretty quickly and then to purse. But, like you, I wish someone had told me about that sooner.

    Great vlog!

    Who needs zippers? ;)

I was a huge lactivist with my first, but my second couldn’t have breastmilk due to a genetic disorder. I ate a lot of humble pie, and now I know you do what works for you-and it’s no one else’s business (much like most of parenting!).

LOL! Some days as I’m running out the door after a kid or the dog I fleetingly thing about how awful I look and pray the neighbors aren’t home.
I started giving all my babies cereal at 4 months because their Daddy can hold a spoon very well. ;)
The purse/diaper bag one is a good one – that would have been truly helpful for me!

I bought so many diaper bags, and loved them all. After the 6 year mark, I finally went back to purses, and haven’t looked back. I think for me it was just a phase I went through, and then moved on. However, I will say that I will always choose bra over pants. LOL!
